The Distress of Sleepless Hours

Restlessness can ensnare you like a vice during the night. Every sound becomes amplified, every shadow takes on an ominous form. Existing With A Mind That Won't Quiet

We crave for an/a/some escape, a place/safety/shelter where the pain/suffering/anguish can fade/disappear/evaporate, but often/always/sometimes the darkness persists/holds tight/remains. It's in these moments of helplessness that we must find/create/forge our own/internal/personal light/strength/will. We must face/confront/stand against the emptiness/void/terror, and discover/remember/unearth the unbreakable spirit that lies within/deep inside/at our core.

A Heavy Blanket of Insomnia

Insomnia can be heavy weight upon your mind and body. You toss and turn, fighting for sleep as you struggle. The hours crawl by, each one an eternity marked by anxieties and disappointment. This constant state of wakefulness becomes a prisoner within the darkness.

Yearning for Sweet Oblivion

The throes of oblivion was a siren's call, a searing promise of rest. To drown in its shadows was to still the incessant noise of existence. The life's website sharp edges dissolved under the spell of its sweetness.

To truly long oblivion was to yearn for a fleeting respite from the burden of being.
